This cover art was designed for a look book on KieranTimberlake's research practice. The concept: layer the firm's own internal research documents — in this case a literature survey on computational view analysis methods — as a ghosted background beneath a photograph of High Horse Ranch, one of the built projects that research informs.

The title, "Architecture Research Planning," sits directly on top of both. Diagrams, tables, and citations from the research query form the texture underneath the finished photograph, showing research as the foundation the built work sits on rather than a separate, invisible process.
